Miami police are looking for clues in two separate shootings that left two men dead.
The first one:
Detectives “were pounding the pavement” Tuesday in hopes of finding witnesses or any other information on a fatal shooting in Little Havana the day before, according to spokeswoman Frederica Burden.
At about 7 a.m. Monday, police responded to 619 SW Seventh Ave. in reference to a male being shot.
When Miami Fire Rescue arrived, a man was found dead in the street of the residential neighborhood.
Police later identified him as Allan Vigil, 44.
Burden said it was “unfortunate” how little information detectives have at this point.
“We urge anyone with information to come forward,” she said.
The second one:
Officers were called to Northwest 18th Avenue at 53rd Street at 12:13 a.m. Tuesday after reports of multiple gunshots. Police found Enrique Fikes, 25, lying on the ground, shot to death.
Anyone with information on either case can call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
