Police said the two victims were walking with three other friends near 1933 SW Seventh St. at about 2 a.m., when a car pulled up and someone inside started shooting. The 29-year-old and 15-year-old victims were the only ones hit by the gunfire before the car pulled off.
The victims were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and are expected to recover.
Police said the car is a dark color but did not have information on the make or model. Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Miami police at 305-603-6350 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
