The Key Biscayne Council met Tuesday to discuss some of the projects they hope to start over the next two years.
At the Dec. 2 council meeting, the Council created a priority list of projects, including:
▪ Developing 530 Crandon Blvd. and the dog park at the north end of the Village Green;
▪ Expanding the community center;

▪ Renovating the library;
▪ Purchasing the parking lot behind the police administration building to build a parking garage.
The village will also continue with its storm water drainage and beach renourishment projects.
The Council voted to select a bid from R.P. Utility & Excavation Corp to build golf cart paths in Calusa Park. They also voted to modify a deed restriction with St. Agnes Catholic Church. There is an easement next to the church that allows bicyclists and pedestrians to access Calusa Park. The deed modification will allow for golf cart access.
The Council also voted to add 11 golf cart parking spaces in front of the Silver Sands Beach Resort.
