A closing reception will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday for artist and curator Prudence Gill’s art exhibit, “Ghosting Nature.”
The exhibit is at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center, 6767 Crandon Blvd., in Key Biscayne. It features pieces inspired by nature and her experiences growing up on the Matheson coconut plantation in Key Biscayne. Gill has shown her artwork in New York, Denmark and Canada and has worked as a curator at Ohio State University for many years.
Last October, she also took part in the Artists in Residence in Everglades program, where she lived and worked in Everglades National Park for a month.
