The Aero Modelers of Perrine presented Jets Over AMPS first "Get Together" at Silver Field in southwest Miami-Dade on Saturday, June 11, 2016 — day two of the three-day event. Scores of fliers of RC jet turbine, props and electric model aircraft gathered to fly or admire the large-scale aircraft take to the sky.

"This is our little piece of heaven," said AMPS President Tony Fandino, who coordinated the event with Marvin Alvarez.

It brought aficionados and amateurs to Silver Field, at 20044 SW 168th St. Members of aero modeler clubs from Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia and El Salvador flew in for the "Get Together".
