Kitten caught in frame of car rescued after driver hears cries
It was the cries from a kitten coming inside a car that sent a concerned driver to a nearby Miami-Dade Fire Station Monday morning.
When the driver showed up at about 9 a.m. a crew at Station 34 in Cutler Ridge, 10850 SW 211 St., traced the sound to the rear wheel.
Using a jack, the crew removed the wheel and found the scared kitten stuck in the frame of the car.
Rescuers were able to remove it from the tight spot.
And even better: The male kitten was taken home by one of its rescuers.
