People gathered at the Homestead City Hall on Saturday afternoon for the #WeAreFlorida protest to demonstrate unwavering commitment to freedom, to demand the revocation of SB 1718, and to rally in favor of Congressional action to protect Floridians impacted by this law.

The law toughens penalties on people who bring undocumented immigrants into Florida, requiring hospitals to submit data about whether patients are in the country legally and providing $12 million for a program that allows Florida to transport migrants to other parts of the country.
