Drivers who usually use U.S. 1/South Dixie Highway coming north out of South Miami-Dade in the mornings got slowed early Tuesday morning after a motorcycle vs. car crash on the northbound side of U.S. 1.

Overhead video from NBC6 shows the first moments after the crash, when all lanes were shut down and traffic was diverted through a strip mall parking lot near Southwest 136th Street/Howard Drive. Then, for more than an hour, U.S. 1 northbound was down to one lane from its usual three.
