Miami-Dade police are investigating after a body was found in a home in the 16100 block of Southwest 141st Avenue. They’re also looking for a white Mercedes sedan that might be connected to the incident.

Officers making a welfare check early Thursday morning at a Southwest Miami-Dade home found a body inside, according to Miami-Dade police.

Police discovered the body after being called by a family member to check on their loved one at a home in the 16100 block of Southwest 141st Avenue.

When officers arrived they found a broken rear glass door. By late Thursday, police had not identified the person or revealed the cause of death.

Cops were looking for a white Mercedes sedan but said later they found it. It was not clear whether the car has any connection to the body.
