Officers making a welfare check early Thursday morning at a Southwest Miami-Dade home found a body inside, according to Miami-Dade police.
Police discovered the body after being called by a family member to check on their loved one at a home in the 16100 block of Southwest 141st Avenue.
When officers arrived they found a broken rear glass door. By late Thursday, police had not identified the person or revealed the cause of death.
Cops were looking for a white Mercedes sedan but said later they found it. It was not clear whether the car has any connection to the body.
