Two killed in carjacking outside nightclub
A carjacker killed two fathers outside a Goulds nightclub, then ditched the stolen Cadillac CTS hours later.
Left dead outside the nightclub at 12002 SW 220th St. were Eddie Seymour, 46, of Goulds and VonTavius Sands, 36, of Cutler Bay.
According to Miami-Dade Police, a man walked up to Seymour and Sands as they stood next to the car around 4 a.m. Saturday. The gunman shot both.
Tracy Walker, in the passenger seat of the Cadillac, then found herself at gunpoint. After he robbed Walker and ordered her out of car, he drove away.
Police later found the car.
“Words can’t express the love and hurt I am feeling right now,” Walker posted to Facebook on Sunday morning. “Eddie Seymour, I love you so much. Please, please, please family, keep his mother, daughter, brothers and me in your prayers.”
Sands was the father of two boys and a girl, in addition to his late first son.
Anyone with information on the double homicide is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 305-471-8477 or via the website.
