Man shot to death at Hialeah motel

A man was shot to death Saturday night behind a Hialeah motel.

Police said Norian Pino, 33, was shot in back of Rainbow Inn Motel, 2801 W. Okeechobee Blvd.

Pino, who is from Hialeah, was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he died.

Witnesses told Miami Herald news partner CBS4 they heard two shots.

Police said the men may have known each other.

“We are actively pursuing leads on the suspect, who remains at large,” Spokesman Carl Zogby said in a news release.

Last month, a 30-year-old woman was found dead outside another Okeechobee Road motel, the Chesapeake. A man who lives near the motel was arrested.
