Hundreds of students, judges and community leaders gathered at the Hialeah courthouse on May 6 to celebrate Law Day. Hialeah was one of many cities across the country marking the 50th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court case, Miranda v. Arizona. Local students wrote essays and participated in various workshops to explore the procedural protections afforded to all citizens.
