Hialeah homicide detectives are looking for the shooter who killed one woman and left another in critical condition outside a Hialeah nightclub.

Niurvy Dlima, 44, of Hialeah, died in a parking lot Sunday morning outside Las Tabernas de Wancho at 2100 W. 76th St.

Estela Cuba, 50, of Miami Springs, was seriously injured and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, said Hialeah police spokesman Carl Zogby.

The two women were driving away from the parking lot around 3 a.m. when someone fired several shots into Dlima’s car.

A man who identified himself as Dlima’s brother spoke with police outside the building around noon on Sunday, but said he was too upset to speak with reporters.

The club’s patrons were kept inside the building until about 6:30 a.m., said Carmen Pavon, 47, of Hialeah. She was leaving the club minutes after the incident, and was stopped at the door of the building by police, who were setting up crime scene tape around the perimeter of the west-side parking lot.

Pavon, like many of the club’s patrons, had to leave her car there until police took off the crime scene tape around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
