Hialeah police on Thursday released surveillance video and pictures of a man who detectives say robbed a jewelry store at gunpoint earlier in the month.

According to police, three masked men entered Ariel’s Jewelry, 2476 W. 60th St., at about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 3 through the dry-wall partition to an adjacent business, Travel Agency at 2474 W. 60th St.

Detectives say two female employees were tied up and restrained, but were not injured.

Meanwhile, another woman, an employee of the adjacent business, was assaulted when she entered her store during the robbery, police said.

The video shows a man with dreadlocks struggling with victim, outside her store. The men then left in a white Chevy van.

Police say the same men may be responsible for a similar armed robbery on May 30th at Luany Jewelry, 1738 W. 49 St. In that robbery, two woman opened the store and were ambushed by three masked men, who got in through the wall of an adjacent store.
