Hialeah police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide Thursday afternoon that they say left two people dead and another critically injured. The shooter is dead as officers continue to investigate.

Around 2 p.m., officers rushed to the Lago Grande apartment complex community, 2500 block of West 67th Place, to reports of a shooting, said Lt. Eddie Rodriguez, a Hialeah police spokesperson.

Police found two people dead; and a third person was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

Detectives believe it was a domestic shooting and are classifying it as a murder-suicide as they continue to investigate, Rodriguez said.

This is a developing story.
