Crash with a car in Hialeah Gardens sends motorcyclist to hospital, fire-rescue says

A motorcycle crash in Hialeah Gardens sent a rider to the hospital early Tuesday, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

At 5:53 a.m., rescue crews went to Okeechobee Road and Northwest 116th Way after reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.

A rider was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

The motorcyclist was put on a gurney before being flown to the hospital, according to camera footage by WPLG-Channel 10.

Details of what led up to the crash or the rider’s condition were not immediately available.
