Miami-Dade 16-year-old found after she was missing for more than a week

A 16-year-old Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School student has been found after she was missing for more than a week, Miami-Dade Schools Police.

Early Tuesday afternoon, Miami-Dade Schools Police Chief Edwin Lopez tweeted that Emma Elizabeth Rivera was recovered.

She had been last seen at her school around 10 a.m. Dec. 14, Lopez said Thursday night.
