A body was found early Tuesday outside a blue car in Hialeah near apartments and a Publix shopping center, police said.
The body was found near West 60th Street and 25th Court, according to Hialeah police.
The death is being treated as a homicide, Miami Herald news partner CBS4 reported.
Video taken by local TV news stations showed investigators combing the area for clues, the body covered with a tarp next to a blue car with bullet holes. A bullet also shattered a parked car’s rear window.
Hialeah police declined to give any additional information about the investigation, including if anyone was in custody or if they were still searching for a suspect.
