WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: Hialeah police say Duran was located and reunited with his family.

Hialeah resident Luis Duran, 63, told his wife Tuesday night that he was heading to the Publix just over three miles away. So, he rolled away in his Toyota Yaris.

Duran hasn’t been seen since. He suffers from dementia. Hialeah police want the public’s help in finding him.

Duran was going to the Publix at 15000 Miami Lakes Dr., but whether or not he made it there is unknown. He’s five-foot-four and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He wears glasses to drive.

Hialeah police say he was wearing a beige button-down shirt with double front pockets and dark blue jeans.

Duran’s 2007 Toyota Yaris is red with Florida license plate IVFB43 with damage to the driver’s side rear bumper.
