Hialeah

Two masked men use a gun and a vase in a home invasion to rob a Hialeah woman

A woman in Hialeah opened her front door when she heard the knock.

But then two masked men pushed their way inside the house in the 100 block of East 60th Street at around 8:30 a.m. Friday.

Hialeah Police Lt. Eddie Rodriguez said the woman was then robbed at gunpoint by the men. While one man was ransacking the bedrooms, another hit her on the head with a flower vase.

Police say the two men then ran from the house carrying several items.

The woman was treated by fire rescue at her home.

Police are investigating.
