Two to the hospital, one to the county jail after a ‘family dispute’ in Hialeah

A 53-year-old Hialeah man shot two relatives in their 20s during a “family dispute,” Hialeah police say.

Cops say they arrested Braulio Gonzalez Saturday night after a short search. By the time officers got to 5140 E. Eighth Ct., Gonzalez had left.

While police set up a perimeter that eventually snagged Gonzalez, 24-year-old Yenisledy Malagon and 28-year-old Leopoldo Merano were taken to the hospital.

The suspect in the shooting is not Miami-Dade police officer Braulio Gonzalez, who was arrested last week on child molestation charges.
