Man killed in overnight shooting in Hialeah

A 19-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Hialeah late Friday night.

Police learned of the incident shortly after midnight, when Palmetto Hospital notified them of a gunshot victim in the emergency room. The victim was later taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died early Saturday morning.

Homicide detectives were investigating.
