Motorcycle crash stalls traffic on southbound 826
A crash involving a motorcycle on the southbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway halted traffic Tuesday afternoon and left one person injured.
The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. at 122nd Street near Hialeah.
A group of people gathered around the motorcyclist, whose bike and helmet lay several feet away. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Joe Sanchez, spokesman for the Florida Highway Patrol.
Three lanes were blocked after the crash, but reopened about 20 minutes later.
