Miami police officers on routine patrol in Overtown found a man who had been shot in the upper body on the ground outside an apartment complex, police said.
Earnest Lawrence, a spokesman for Miami police, said detectives have not been able to locate the “scene” where the man was shot.
“We don’t have any witnesses right now,” he said.
The man was found at 1955 NW Second Ct. He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.
