Miami police on Sunday were combing through evidence and looking for witnesses to solve a shooting that killed one person and injured three others.
At about 9:20 p.m. Saturday, police received several calls about shots being fired in the area of Northwest 13th Avenue and 54th Street in Liberty City.
When police arrived, they found the four victims between 54th and 55th streets.
"Right now all we have are pieces and we need help putting them together," said Miami police spokeswoman Frederica Burden.

The victims were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where one died.
Burden said police have little to go on so far. It is was not clear Sunday if there was a group of people outside, if there was more than one shooter and if the shooter was on foot or in a car.
"I don’t understand what is going on or why it’s going on," she said, referring to the violence plaguing neighborhoods. "It’s just senseless.”
Miami police were also called Saturday night to a shooting on Northwest 22nd Street and Fourth Avenue where a man and a woman were wounded.
The incidents are not related, Burden said.
Anyone with information on either shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
