The Spot, an adult nightclub at Northwest Seventh Avenue and 64th Street where fifteen people were shot last September, was leveled Tuesday.
Tiffany Johnson, manager of The Spot, received citations last September by Miami police for distributing alcohol with only a beer and wine license, for not having permits for a jukebox and a pool table, and for buying beer at Presidente Supermarket, which isn’t a legal distributor.
The Spot was a licensed restaurant that could seat up to 50 people. There was a party inside the club at 1 a.m. last September, police said, and it remains unclear what children and teenagers were doing inside when shots rang out.
The Spot closed after the shooting.
