A 10-year-old boy was shot in the leg Wednesday night outside the Liberty Square Community Center, according to Miami Police.
The boy was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition, said Miami Police Spokeswoman Frederica Burden.
Details about the shooting, including how many people were involved, how many shots were fired and whether the boy was a target, were not available Wednesday night. Burden said no other injuries were reported.
Burden said the shooting happened at a community center at 1415 NW 63rd St., a popular spot where local residents hang out.
