Drivers, beware: Miami police to conduct DUI checkpoint Thursday night

Miami police officers will conduct a DUI checkpoint Thursday night in an effort to identify, stop and arrest impaired drivers, and ticket those who drive without a seatbelt.

The checkpoint will be at Northwest Seventh Avenue and 60th Street from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Police will also be conducting a DUI “saturation patrol” in the area.
