Expect a warm start to Ultra Music Festival, rain likely later in weekend

Electronic dance music fans can expect an idyllic opening day to Ultra Music Festival on Friday.

For the first day of the three-day event at Bayfront Park, the National Weather Services is forecasting a high of 81 degrees with mostly clear skies. Even if you’re not heading to downtown Miami for the throbbing bass drops, it’ll be a gorgeous day to be outside. The low Friday evening is 73.

Saturday and Sunday could be wetter. The temperature is expected to be the same, but there’s a 40 percent of thunderstorms on Saturday and 60 percent chance on Sunday.

Following the showers, the temperatures should drop to around 65 Sunday night.
