Suspicious package found near Miami courthouse shuts down streets, police say

Police on Monday morning are investigating a suspicious package near the federal courthouse in downtown Miami.

Investigators blocked off North Miami Avenue and First Avenue between Third and Fifth streets. Those streets surround the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. U.S. Courthouse, 400 N. Miami Ave.

Police haven’t released any details about the package.
