Juvenile dirt bike rider fatally crashes into bicyclist on Rickenbacker Causeway
A juvenile dirt-bike rider may be facing criminal charges after he crashed into a man riding a bicycle who later died on the Rickenbacker Causeway Friday night, Miami police said.
Around 8:20 p.m., Fabian Moses, 54, was riding his bike east on the Rickenbacker when the juvenile, whose age was not released, crashed into him with his electric dirt bike, police said.
Moses was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he died from his injuries. The juvenile was also taken to the hospital with facial injuries.
Police said charges are pending with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, which is still investigating.
