A woman is hospitalized after being pushed into the Miami River on Tuesday morning, according to police.

Shortly before 11 a.m., Miami Police and Fire Rescue responded to 114 SW N. River Dr after reports of a possible drowning.

Police say a woman was found unconscious in the water and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in “very critical condition.”

The victim was seen arguing with a man when she sat by the water — and was pushed in, according to cops. One man has been detained as “part of the ongoing investigation.”
