A seaplane went down into the water near PortMiami Friday afternoon, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

The incident happened shortly before 2 p.m. near 1500 Port Blvd. Seven people were on board, and they were all safely pulled from the water, the fire department said.

There were no reported injuries, fire rescue spokeswoman Andrea Rudchenco told the Herald.
