Traffic alert: Motorcycle and car crash, closing parts of Biscayne Boulevard
A crash between a car and motorcycle closed parts of Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami Friday morning, according to police.
The crash happened around 11:40 a.m. near Northeast 19th and 23rd streets, said Miami police spokeswoman Kiara Delva. As of noon, that section of Biscayne Boulevard was shut down, and police told drivers to avoid the area.
Fire rescue paramedics took the motorcycle driver to Jackson Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries, Delva said.
