Downtown Miami streets were closed while police investigated a ‘suspicious package’
Two blocks of downtown Miami were closed Thursday morning for what police said was the investigation of a “suspicious package.”
Northeast First Avenue from Third to Fifth street were closed from just before 8 a.m. until about 9:10 a.m. The package was checked out and removed without incident.
