Children among those seriously injured in Miami car crash Saturday
Several people, including children, were seriously injured in a car crash in Miami Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:50 p.m. at Northeast Second Avenue and Northeast 50th Street.
“As a result, various persons were transported to [Jackson Memorial Hospital’s] Ryder Trauma, including some juveniles,” Officer Kenia Fallat, a city of Miami police spokeswoman, said in an email. “One of them is in critical condition.”
Fallat said details about the crash were unavailable Saturday night.
“Our Traffic Homicide detectives are currently investigating,” she said.
