A gas leak check has closed downtown block as rush hour finishes

A block of downtown Miami were closed Tuesday morning while TECO Peoples Gas and Miami Fire Rescue checked out a possible gas leak.

Miami Fire Rescue said Northeast Second Avenue from Flagler Street to Northeast First Street would be closed for an undetermined length of time during the investigation.
