A Doral man surrendered after barricading himself in his home for more than 3 hours
UPDATE: The Doral resident gave himself up without injuries to anyone.
The 26-year-old man had been threatening self harm, police say, and had barricaded himself inside his home Monday afternoon from about 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
While Miami-Dade police Special Response Team dealt with the situation at the Sonoma at Doral condo development, Northwest 114th Avenue was closed from Northwest 58th Street to 52nd Street.
