‘Really surprised to see that’: Watch a bunch of cows roam the busy streets of Doral
There’s a first time for everything.
Santiago Bravo has lived in Doral since 2001 and had never seen cows roam the streets before.
This all changed on Thursday evening, when a few managed to get free from their pasture on Northwest 112th Avenue and 41st Street. Over a dozen cows are seen on the sidewalk and road, just taking a stroll, Bravo’s video shows.
A little over two years ago, also in Doral (home to President Donald Trump’s golf resort and the Miami Herald), a cow that escaped from its pasture halted traffic for a time. But that guy was flying solo.Thursday’s outing was a party.
Bravo, 22, said he saw cops on the scene a few minutes after shooting the video.
“I was really surprised to see that,” he said. “I was hoping they didn’t get hit.”
Doral PD spokesman Rey Valdes confirmed officers were able to corral the animals until the owner arrived. They were rounded up on NW 41st Street and 107th Avenue.
“It was a lot of cows,” Valdes said, “and on a very busy artery.”
