A University of Miami student died early Wednesday after falling from a campus building.
UM sent an alert after midnight about a “medical emergency” near the School of Communication. The university characterized the fall as an “apparent accident” and identified the student as Estefano Aime, a senior business major and employee of the campus Rathskeller
“The entire University of Miami community is in mourning,” UM said in a statement. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.”
