We would like to thank Vice Mayor William H. Kerdyk, Jr. for 20 years of public service to the City of Coral Gables. He has been an exemplary commissioner, moving the city forward while remaining true to the vision that sets it apart as a special place to live and work. As a strong voice for residents, he has focused on our concerns about preserving the safety, tranquility, and character of our residential neighborhoods. His support of traffic calming, his role in making the Coral Gables Trolley a reality, his commitment to keeping the city beautiful — by preserving green spaces through the “Parknership” program, enhanced landscaping of our streets and public areas, preservation of our historic architecture —— have all helped ensure that the quality of life so many of us moved here for continues over the years. We wish him all the best, and should he ever decide to resume his leadership of the city, we are among the many residents who would be happy to support him.
