The holiday tradition of the Junior Orange Bowl parade will continue with the 68th annual edition of the parade taking place over the Thanksgiving weekend.
This year’s parade theme, “Holiday on the Mile,” centers on that tradition. Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday in the downtown Coral Gables area.
As with previous festivals, paradegoers can expect to see plenty of floats, various musical groups, marching bands and dancers as the event makes its way through the Gables.
This year will feature a special performance from the cast of “Million Dollar Quartet,” the Tony Award-winning show that is currently running at Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre through Jan. 1.
