A University of Miami student was taken to the hospital Friday with non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a car near UM’s campus, Coral Gables police said.
The accident happened Friday afternoon at Albenga Avenue and San Amaro Drive, just west of the campus, police said. The roads in the area were shut down.
The student was taken to Kendall Trauma Center.
Coral Gables police are investigating the incident.
