Police: Two women shot in Coconut Grove

Two women were shot late Tuesday night in Coconut Grove, Miami police confirmed.

The shooting happened at about 9:30 p.m. at 3579 Thomas Ave.

Frederica Burden, a Miami police spokeswoman, said it was not clear where the women were found. Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No further information was available late Tuesday.
