A man with long hair, a blue shirt and a cross around his neck walked into a home and packed a bag full of electronics and other items while a couple slept.

Police say the unidentified man entered the Coconut Grove home, in the 3000 block of Shipping Avenue, early Thursday and stole more than $100,000 in goods as the homeowners, Robert and Veronica Giannini, were in an upstairs bedroom.

The spree — which also included jewelry from upstairs — was captured on surveillance video. The man, whose face is not covered, looks directly into the camera.

Police are asking for help in identifying the man. Anyone with information can call police at 305-471-TIPS.
