All-clear given after bomb threat at Ransom Everglades led to school evacuation, cops say

A apparent bomb threat at Ransom Everglades School on Friday afternoon, which led to an evacuation of the Coconut Grove campus, was deemed unfounded, Miami police say.

Around noon, officers evacuated the private high school, at 3675 Main Highway, to investigate the validity of the threat.

Police later confirmed an all clear was given at the school. A spokesman for the school had no comment on the situation.
