A man was shot in the foot in the Brickell area, Miami police confirmed Monday evening.
The reports of possible gunshots came in around 5:20 a.m. The shots were heard in the area of South Miami Avenue and 10th Street, said Officer Michael Vega, a spokesman for the department.
The man who was shot went to HCA Florida Aventura hospital on Monday, Vega told the Miami Herald. It’s unknown if he has since been released.
Detectives are interviewing about five people, Vega confirmed. However, it’s still unclear if they are victims, witnesses or shooters.
“We will know tomorrow morning,” Vega said.
