Gas leak closes Aventura street

A gas leak caused by construction in the area has closed down an Aventura street Wednesday evening, according to police.

Northeast 213th Street (Yacht Club Drive) from 34th Avenue to the Intracoastal Waterway was shut down at about 6 p.m.

The gas company and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue were on scene to fix the leak.
