Man injured in Aventura crane accident

A man fell about 15 feet from a crane Sunday morning as he worked on a construction site in Aventura, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

The accident happened at about 9 a.m. near a bank building at 2950 Aventura Blvd.

Miami-Dade Fire spokeswoman Michelle Fayed said the man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

“It was more of a precautionary transport because it was a long fall,” she said.
