Two girls missing since leaving their North Miami-Dade school on Monday have been found

TUESDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: Miami-Dade Schools police said at 2:23 p.m. that the girls had been found.

Before Tuesday, The last time anyone saw Cassandra Oriente, 11, and Jasmine Shirley, 10, they were leaving Aventura Waterways K-8 Center after school Monday, around 3:20 p.m.

That’s why Miami-Dade Schools police reached out to the public for help Tuesday.

The school is at 21101 NE 26th Ave. in Northeast Miami-Dade, just west of Aventura.
